We Started With a Pit, a Recipe, and a Promise
Sugar's BBQ was born out of a simple belief: that the best barbecue comes from doing things the right way, even when nobody's watching. Located in the heart of Embudo, New Mexico, we've been smoking meats and building community one brisket at a time.
Our recipes have been passed down through generations, refined over years of late nights and early mornings. We source locally whenever possible, rub our own blends, and never rush the smoke. That's the Sugar's promise — every single day.
